SONNETEK WEBSITE PRODUCT WARRANTY POLICY:

 
FOR MOST SONNETEK MODELS, THE STANDARD WARRANTY PERIOD IS 1-YEAR, UNLESS OTHERWISE NOTED.  PLEASE REVIEW "ADDITIONAL INFO" PORTION OF INDIVIDUAL ITEM TO CONFIRM STANDARD WARRANTY OFFER.

 

SONNETEK warrants its products free from manufacturing defects, in part and in whole, under the following terms and conditions:

 

SOLAR POWERED VENTILATION FAN UNIT:  MODEL FANAT12P14 | FANAT20P30B | FANAT20P30S

 

Sonnetek (Manufacturer) warrants this product to be free from defects of workmanship and/or materials for a period of time

starting from the original date of purchase, as noted:

 

a) Fan motor unit for a period of 5 years, parts only, from the original date of purchase.

b) Solar panel unit for a period of 20 years, parts only, from the original date of purchase.

c) All other components for a period of 20 years, parts only, from the original purchase date.

 

Disclaimer: This warranty is subject to proper installation and handling of the unit in accordance to the original
manufacturer's written installation instructions. In no event shall the manufacturer be liable for the loss of profits, indirect, incidental, consequential or any other similar damages, including but not limited to any claims or demands arising out of the installation, or operation of a product or use by the purchaser or any third party. The above warranty terms and conditions
do not extend to misuse, abuse, neglect, mishandling, alteration, exposure to extreme weather conditions, or damages /
injury caused during transportation, installation or operation. This warranty cannot be transferred.

 

Warranty Claims: All warranty claims shall be submitted in writing to Sonnetek. All claims must include ALL of the following documentation, NO EXCEPTION:

 

1. Original purchase invoice, no photocopy will be accepted.

2. Purchaser's name, address, phone number and email address.

3. Descriptions of the claimed defect(s) please be specific.

 

If required by Sonnetek (Manufacturer), the purchaser shall ship the claimed defective component(s) to the Manufacturer's

service department, FOB destination, freight prepaid, for evaluation and testing. Manufacturer reserve the right, at its

discretion, to repair or replace the defective component or rebate a portion of the purchase price prorated based on the

balance of the warranty terms. No representation, arrangement or agreement not appearing herein shall be binding on

Manufacturer. This limited warranty is issued in and shall be binding on Manufacturer.
 
ALL OTHER PRODUCT WARRANTY COVERAGE:

 

Warranted products will be covered in parts and labor for a period of one (1) year, unless otherwise noted per product type,

series, model number, model name, and/or manufacturer’s part number, from the date of purchase. FSP Group reserves the

rights to provide replacement products in either new, refurbished or remanufactured products, matching or similar model

depending on availability, in perfect working condition. Replacement products will be warranted for the remainder of the

warranty period or for thirty (30) days from the date in which product was shipped in return, whichever is longer.

 

It is highly recommended, but not necessary to register your SONNETEK purchased products to obtain warranty. In the event

that warranty service is required, a Return Authorization (RA) number must be issued by SONNETEK and proof of purchase

such as a store receipt or invoice must be made available upon request by SONNETEK customer service.

 

The standard turn-around time for RA service is 4-6 weeks from the date when the product is received in SONNETEK

warehouse.  The RA number issued is valid for fifteen (15) business days from the date when it was issued until the product

is received in SONNETEK’s warehouse.

 

PRODUCT RETURN FOR WARRANTY SERVICE POLICY AND PROCEDURES:

 

The followings are required criteria for any product to be returned to Sonnetek.com, please follow these return instructions

carefully,

 
1.       Please review Sonnetek.com Terms & Conditions carefully.
2.       Then complete Sonnetek.com Return Authorization Form.
3.       After completing the form, please click “Send” to submit it online.

4.       A trained Sonnetek.com customer service representative will promptly reply your message within 48 hours to guide

      you through the rest of the way, as well as issuing a RA (Return Authorization) number (REQUIRED) for your

      your returning package.

      5.   All returns must be packaged with an outer protective shipping carton, and issued RA number must be clearly
            written on the top of the shipping carton.  All of these criteria are absolutely required, with no exceptions.  Any
            invalid or unauthorized returns will be refused and returned to you at your cost.  For further information, please

SONNETEK STANDARD WARRANTY TERMS AND CONDITIONS:

 

SONNETEK warranty is non-transferable. This warranty can only be claim by the original consumer purchaser.  All

transactions must be taken place through authorized SONNETEK installers, resellers, retailers, online e-tailers and
distributors.  SONNETEK does NOT warrant any product that its original quality check and serial number label/marking has
been defaced, modified, or removed.  SONNETEK does NOT warrant any product damage, deterioration or malfunction
resulting from physical damage, abuse, misuse, neglect, accident, fire, water, lightning or other acts of nature. SONNETEK
does NOT warrant any product, personal, commercial or industrial, unauthorized use such as modification, failure to properly follow instructions included with the product, shipment damages, repair or attempted repair by anyone other than SONNETEK Service Center.

 

SONNETEK obligates and liable under this warranty only limited to the repair or replacement of a defective product at our own discretions.  SONNETEK shall NOT be obligates and liable to any incidental or consequential damage including but not limited to damages resulting from interruption of service, delay, and loss of business.

 

If repair is required, SONNETEK reserves the right to perform such repair in accordance to SONNETEK Service Center
standards.  For out-of-warranty products, a service and parts charge will apply. Please contact SONNETEK Service Center at
626-935-1881.  SONNETEK Service Center will provide a repair estimate; include service and parts, per customer approval,
prior to perform any repair.
